Finals Time Is Here
Finals time is here
Misery and drear
Woe for all that students call
Their worst time of year
Grades are in the air
Crunch-time everywhere
Stressful times and mnemonic rhymes
Of info to prepare
Bell chimes through the air
Studying everywhere
Books and notes on either side
Staying up late in the night
Finals time is here
We'll be feeling drear
Oh, that we would always be
In such misery this time of year
Oh, that we would always be
In such misery this time of year

Mags ran up to Benjamin Lewis and wrapped her arms tightly around his waist, thankful that he was alright. She thought that she had lost him somewhere in the battle, unable to keep track of him during the fight. Benjamin returned the embrace, resting his chin lightly on Mags' head which was now up against his chest.
Around them, the warehouse was falling apart with each passing minute, echoes of the fight continuing to ring throughout the place. But it mattered not as they both knew that each other was safe so long as they were held in each others embrace.
Help me, oh heavenly father,
for I wish not to be like mine.
Help me, oh earthly mother,
for I wish to care like thine.
My soul is old and tired,
my body young and spry.
But that doesn't stop me
every time I try.
Help me, for I wish to find her,
the one who I shall unconditionally love.
To cherish and make her smile,
until we depart for the stars above.
My children shall not feel my pain,
nor walk the weight I bear.
For I wish them not to be like me,
almost fragile like a chandelier.
This is my prayer to you,
my father who has taught me right from wrong.
Let me bring some good on this mortal world,
before my time is gone.
You wish you could make me happy all day
I wish I could make your pain just wash away
Dancing together under the ceiling of the night
Kissing each other in the rain, our hearts like thunders might
Am I a fool to think that you and I could be one?
Especially when you could get anyone you want

In these times of war and woes,
these times of destruction and numerous foes,
with Mother Nature breathing down our neck
and the world in a nuclear panic.
Nobody realizes just how far a smile really goes.
Because, let's face it, these aren't the times of swords and bows.
Whether its just a smile or just a friendly wave,
It's might just be enough to make someone's day.
There is a girl whom I watch from afar,
I know not how she captured my heart in this tar.
I feel like I've been stuck up in a personal tree,
The sensation of love is not known by me.
Her beauty, her smile, the soul behind her eyes,
fill up the container that has since been dry.
It's ironic coming from me, someone who knows no love
To think of someone so graceful as a dove.
You've seen the world pass through many ages,
so many tales that you've told that would take up pages upon pages.
You have seen so much in your time on this world,
so many events that came up and unfurled.
You saw us go to a world war for the second time,
and afterwards you lived through the nuclear threat fine.
You heard about Watergate, and saw the rise of the car,
lived through the dawn of the modern era, and several new tv stars.
Computers are moving in, and the population is getting fat,
farmers are moving into the cities that are infested by rats.
Cars are getting faster and houses getting bigger,
yet they can't come out with
I love her with all my might,
The relationship, I feel, would be just right.
But no, this goddess of beauty can not be with me,
because I am just a mere mortal, having been stricken with love for thee.
What I like about Her by Torrent-of-Darkness, literature

What I like about Her
Her reddish hair lights my heart aglow,
much like the rays of the morning sun's glow.
Her eyes are soulful and beautifully deep,
so much that I could get lost in them for weeks.
Her figure is perfect in every single way,
but the truth is that it's her personality traits.
Her personality is the best there is,
so bubbly like a soda full of fizz.
And yet I can't bring my self to ask her out,
for I don't want to end our friendship in a rout.
Two friends sat underneath an oak tree on a hill near each other, overlooking a playground that they used to enjoy together many years ago.
It had been a fun day, filled with many laughs and overall goodwill. There was reminiscing about the past, gossiping about the present, and sharing their dreams about the future.
He suddenly then cupped her chin in his hand and gently lifted it up to meet his eyes. Time seemed to stop around them and soon there was just them and silence, nothing else. Sweet, blissful silence.
Then he broke it. Broke the silence that had fallen between them.
"I love you." he said, looking deep into her eyes. "And I

Okay, so I'm doing/attempting this.
The first ten people to answer this will have me going through their galley and picking my three favorites. And I will feature them here.
The only thing left to do is make a journal similar to this to promote their galleries and that they get to be known, at least for the few people that read my journal...

So yeah, it's been awhile since I last updated this thing. Been busy and stuff.
I'm in college now. Very different atmosphere than high school. But it's enjoyable.
I've started RP'ing on a Heroes board. Started it in May and haven't stooped, although there have been times when I've felt that I should take a break.
Made several friends on the board. A few in particular stand out from the rest.
They're like a second family to me. My home away from home kinda feeling.
When I was nervous about coming to college, all I had to do was log on and I felt comfortable. And when I came to college, the board is like a home I can stay for bit, fe
